Learn How You Can Regulate Without Force – Emotional Healing After Trauma: When you’ve been through trauma, it’s easy to fall into the trap of “pushing” yourself to heal faster. I know this, because I tried it, and it only left me feeling more drained, more frustrated, and more disconnected from my own body. True emotional recovery isn’t about force. It’s about creating a safe space for feelings to surface and soften, in their own time.

Sometimes the smallest shifts can open the biggest doors in recovery.
These three simple steps are designed to help you calm emotional overwhelm without pushing yourself before you’re ready.

Our free downloadable toolkits continue to grow: from the Emotional Reset to Post-Trauma Planning and the Daily Wellness & Mindset Log. Each is designed to give you practical strategies you can start using today.

Exploring the Deeper Layers of Healing – From redefining who you are after trauma: to understanding why rest can be a sign of strength rather than weakness, our blog series takes a closer look at the hidden layers of recovery. Each piece offers reflection, encouragement, and practical ideas to support your healing journey.

TPS is opening new doors for trauma-informed recovery — Our newly published white paper is now available on OSF, Academia.edu, Google Scholar, and ORCID. This milestone shares the principles behind TPS with health professionals, researchers, and community leaders worldwide.

Are you waiting in anticipation to see what’s next in our Specialised Programs? Well, this program will be your guide to navigating life at work after trauma. From rebuilding confidence and managing fatigue to setting boundaries that safeguard your energy, it’s designed for real-world challenges, not textbook theory. Whether you’re preparing to return or already back and struggling, you’ll find practical strategies to make work a place where you can truly thrive again.

💡 Help shape this program – Share your biggest workplace recovery challenges with us, and we’ll make sure they’re addressed. Reply to this newsletter or send us your thoughts directly at: contact@traumapainsupport.com. Please include your name and clearly list the points you’d like us to cover.

Be Present. Feel the Shift.
Recovery isn’t just about the big milestones, it’s about the small, intentional moments that shape how we live each day.

This month, I invite you to create space for presence. Put away the phone, close the laptop, and give your full attention, whether it’s to a friend, a partner, a family member, or simply yourself. Even 10 minutes of intentional presence can shift your entire state.

Your Challenge: Schedule one 10-minute block this week to be fully present. Breathe deeply, notice what’s beautiful, and let yourself just be. The smallest shift in presence can open the biggest doors in your recovery, and your life.

Let’s keep stepping forward together.

With gratitude,
Esther Christopher
