“I found community in a place I least expected, myself.”
Before the Program
After the accident, I felt incredibly isolated. No one around me understood what I was going through. I didn’t have the words for what I needed, and I felt invisible, even to myself.
Finding Trauma Pain Support
I came across TPS while searching for recovery journals, and something about the way it was presented gave me hope. It didn’t promise miracles, it promised support, pacing, and honesty. That’s what made me feel safe enough to try.
During the Program
What changed in the program was the relationship I built with my own story. The sessions helped me name what I was carrying, and the reflection templates helped me see how far I’d come.
Where I Am Now
Now, I feel connected, not just to others, but to myself. I’ve started volunteering at a support group, and I’m even considering training as a peer mentor. The isolation is still there sometimes, but I’m no longer alone in it.
