“More than physical recovery, it gave me back my confidence.”
Before the Program
Even after completing the first stage of my recovery, I still felt hesitant about moving forward. I was physically functioning, but emotionally I was fragile. I found myself avoiding things I used to love because I was afraid of setbacks or getting overwhelmed. I needed something that would help me build strength, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
Discovering Stage 2
The Advanced Recovery Program felt like the next logical step, but it was also the one I was scared to take. I was worried about pushing myself too hard or unlocking emotions I wasn’t ready for. But the pacing, tone, and clarity of the sessions quickly reassured me. Everything felt safe and steady, and I began to trust myself again, one session at a time.
What Changed for Me
One of the biggest shifts came when I started using the energy and symptom tracking tools. I realized how much progress I had actually made. That gave me the confidence to try new things, to stretch without snapping. The grief and mindset work in Stage 2 also helped me reshape how I saw myself, no longer a victim, but someone building her strength and life again.
Looking Forward
Stage 2 didn’t just help me recover, it helped me feel capable again. I’m no longer afraid of setbacks because I know how to respond to them. I’ve started driving again, I’m exercising without fear, and I’ve even signed up for an art class. Most importantly, I feel proud of who I am today, not because I bounced back, but because I rebuilt myself on my own terms.
