Before the Program

I was lost in a loop of recovery that didn’t seem to go anywhere. Physically, I was improving, slowly, but emotionally, I was stuck. I didn’t have a way to understand what I was feeling, or if I was even progressing. I kept asking myself: am I doing this right? Is this normal?

Finding Trauma Pain Support

The idea of a structured, self-paced recovery program instantly appealed to me. What caught my attention was the emphasis on planning and progress, things I could measure, reflect on, and use to regain a sense of momentum. It felt like a framework I could trust.

During the Program

The goal setting and planning session was a standout. I finally had the space and tools to set real, manageable goals. It wasn’t about massive changes, it was about tiny, intentional steps. I began journaling my progress and could literally see how far I’d come. That did something powerful for my mindset.

Where I Am Now

I feel like I have agency again. I know how to check in with myself, set a goal that’s right for me, and honour the wins, even the small ones. I still deal with pain and fatigue, but I no longer feel helpless. This program reminded me that recovery isn’t about perfection, it’s about movement.
